About
Hi, I’m Cedar.
My path into bodywork began with a simple question: how can we feel more at ease in our bodies, even in the midst of everyday stress? My early exploration of wellness started through working with plants and getting to know them on a personal level. Motherwort was my first plant ally, and that relationship opened the door to a deeper curiosity about healing and the body.
That curiosity eventually led me to receive my first massage, where I experienced a release of deeply held tension I hadn’t even been aware I was carrying. That moment stayed with me and continues to shape the way I approach this work.
My style is inspired by Esalen massage, blending long, integrative strokes with focused therapeutic work. I approach each session with a sense of the whole person, rather than isolating parts of the body. Sessions may include deep tissue, passive movement, and joint mobilization, all woven into a continuous, flowing experience. I work with the breath, the tissues, and the subtle layers of the body, meeting you as a whole being.
I trained at the Center for Massage & Natural Health in Asheville, NC, with over 700 hours of study in anatomy, physiology, and hands-on practice. I later completed a 100-hour Esalen Massage Certification and have continued my education through advanced trainings in deep tissue and integrative techniques, along with ongoing study in ethics and professional boundaries. Creating a space that is both grounded and clearly held is an essential part of my work.
Outside of the treatment room, I’m drawn to the slower practices of herbalism, cooking, and spending unstructured time in nature. I value a simple, attuned way of living and staying connected to natural rhythms, which naturally carries into my work.
I honor the trust it takes to receive bodywork. My intention is to meet you exactly where you are.

Benefits of Massage
Massage supports more than muscle relief. With slow, connected touch and thoughtful pacing, the body has a chance to shift out of stress and into ease.
Nervous System Support
Gentle, attuned work helps the body move toward regulation, improving relaxation, sleep, and overall sense of calm.
Reduced Muscle Tension
By working at a pace your system can receive, muscles soften more fully, allowing deeper techniques to be effective without strain.
Improved Mobility & Comfort
Massage can ease chronic tightness, support healthy movement, and reduce discomfort related to posture or stress.
Circulation & Tissue Health
Enhanced blood flow and fluid movement support the body’s natural healing processes and recovery.
Benefits Over Time
Many clients find that regular sessions—every 4–6 weeks—create the most lasting and supportive shifts.
